As you are aware, from time to time the forum goes down, more frequently lately. In order to fix the issue, we are migrating to a new server. Eventually, we will be updating the software as well. The migration will take place on August 28 or 29, so the forum will be down while it happens. Hopefully this will fix the issues, but it will leave us without the forum for a short time. As a result of moving to a larger server, we will incur a greater monthly cost. Additionally, the migration will cost an upfront cost, and new software will also require an upfront cost. Every cent that comes into the forum goes directly to supporting the forum, and nothing else. The forum must remain self-supporting.
