Hey guys. I hate dirty guns as well as oily guns. I bought a sharpertek gun cleaning kit and tried it the first time yesterday. I cleaned it in the solution and was happy with its cleanliness. Stupidly, I put it in the oil bath (smells like motor oil) and the entire gun was drenched in oil. I ended up spraying it off with compressed air but my OCD got the best of me. I cleaned it again today, blew out all the solution I could after the majority of it looked like it evaporated and oiled it as the manual stated. Is this method of cleaning/lubricating ok or do you really need to oil bath it in the ultrasonic as well. I know it will be 50/50, those who like ultrasonic and those who don't. I'm just curious if my method is good... The three guns I'm cleaning are an h&k vp9, m&p shield 1.0 and m&p 2.0 4.25" if that makes a difference. Just the barrel and slide rails are really all I lube per manual... Thanks
