Realizing that I haven't shot my primary CCW (pictured below) in about three months, I figured I was past due to go to the range.

I shot the snub better than I ever have, leaving one fifty round box all within the nine ring

I was curious if this has happened with anyone else here?

While my results are far from spectacular I was very pleased given the difficulty of snubs to shoot.

    Good Shootin!

Funny,I recently went out with my LCR in 38 and had a similar experience.

In the past I had not done that well with it but I have been practicing a smooth long trigger pull and also went through a whole box with mine.

I used the 6 target sheet and was a lot more tight than ever before.

It seems I do better when I don't try to force it or worry about how well I do?

    I love that little LCR!

Thank you1I had been practicing the trigger pull as well. The funny thing is that I was running a reliability test for a different gun; just shot the snub for fun

Very nice shooting indeed, I find a lot of people get frustrated with their cc gun becuase they can't make one ragged hole at 25 yards. Pistols like the snubbies are meant to be shot at 10 yards or less.

Is that the Charter Arms Undercover made around the late 80s to early 90s? Metallurgy was improved over the previous generation. I carried the stainless .44 Bulldog Pug for a short period in the early 90s. I worked on the typically "gritty" trigger that is so common on these revolvers until I achieved a 8-lb. double action pull that was as smooth as glass. I still have it in my vault.
