This was originally a TL-29 that I picked up on Ebay years ago. I sent it to a gentleman on Bladeforums for some work. He deleted the screwdriver blade, giving it a nice slim profile. I had him re-scale it with ebony and add the shield. This is my absolute favorite traditional to carry. [IMG]

@SOS24: ^^ those are both beauties. I have to admit I really like the wood grain on the bottom one! Are they vintage or current?

The green is current. The wood trapper is a couple years ago but I believe still available.

That's a whole lot of nice knives! I haven't dipped my toes much in traditional knives, so for someone who's not up to speed, I would really appreciate some more details on these. Especially this one. I guess. I liked so many of them, but maybe this one stood out more because I typically like less shiny things..

The one you quoted is #4 Sadly except for #3 and #13 they are difficult to obtain. these were mostly short run out of production knives. They can be found but they demand a fairly premium price. The Muslin Micarta #93 was about $68 from dealers, but sold out very quickly and currently about $140 on secondary market. You can sometimes get lucky and get for less, but its fairly rare. The SFO (Special Factory Order) are even worse The #93 pattern was a super high demand Great Eastern Cutlery offering which sold out in minutes.

As much as I love GEC knives it is a very deep rabbit hole!

    #1 #2 GEC #29 Snakewood
#3 A. Wright Lambsfoot Sheffield England
#4 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Muslin Micarta
    #5 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Cocobolo
#6 GEC #93 Lambsfoot Ebony SFO
#7 GEC #93 Lambsfoot Autumn Jigged Bone SFO
    #8 GEC random blade shot
    #9 GEC #29 Snakewood
    #10 GEC #29 Osage orange
#11 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Oily Creek
    #12 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Cocobolo
    #13 GEC #97 Yellow Rose
    #14 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Cocobolo
#15 GEC #93 Lambsfoot Autumn Jigged Bone SFO
#16 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Oily Creek
#17 GEC #29 Curly Maple SFO
#18 GEC #93 Ramsfoot Autumn Jigged Bone

@ccwaters: That is a HELL of a collection you've got there! My hat's off to you buddy! Are the engravings on the blades custom that you requested? I especially got a chuckle out of the 'FLESH ONLY' engraving on the spey blade in pic #8!
