SERIOUS LOL, Gnarly! The thing is, Mrs. Cone is the CFO/COO here at Cone Inc. so she is going to know how much everything is regardless. Plus, she is home all day and I'm not, so guess who gets the mail and receives packages from UPS/FEDEX. The list can only help me. I think. (sounds of gears grinding) Disregard what I just said, you are probaly right. Shred all the evidence and burn the place to the ground. I'll see you at rally point Delta in three days. You are coming through five by five. Cone copies all. Besides, the other women in my life (Mooshisho and Nuphoria) pretty much shot the idea down anyway. I really thought I was on to something.
I am a supporter because this forum has given so much to me, such as gear reviews a place to get advice about my hobby, and lots of new friends and I feel as though I should give back to the forum anyway I can. I do this by being a supporter and buying from the forum store. Thanks Jon and the whole EDCF family for making this forum a great place!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I decided to become a sponsor today after reading some of the complaints about the changes to the forum rules. I see this as Jon doing what is necessary to keep the forum viable. I enjoy the gear that is discussed here, but I enjoy the people and the atmosphere far more. Jon I respect your decision as being yours to make, and appreciate your efforts to maintain this forum for all of us. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
I feel good in this place. Don't know much about others; i feel so. i agree with almost all of the "ten commandments" listed in the opening (i'm not here from far...); some of those i see at as some sort of reply to some posts (one mine) asking for moderation and fair way to share, post, drain knowledge and experience on the forum's discussions. Probably i'm wrong, don't know. I'm still too "old manner" to stand the newest ways to be cool. Doesn't matter. Btw I see here and have the possibility to share things, posts and free suggestions so rare to see everywhere, not on web, everywhere, imho. Thanks to everyone working here. Nick
Well said. Even though I have been a member a short while this forum has some great people and great advice. I felt like I should support such a great place.
I get so much from this forum: information on what gear is good/not good, suggestions & recommendations from people with more experiences, opportunities to contribute my knowledge & expertise, and community/fellowship. I feel like supporting the forum is a small thing I can do to help support the fiscal needs of the forum. Thanks Jon for keeping this place going!
Started as a +1 just out of appreciation for the information I have gotten here. +2 now and I buy from Jon whenever I can. Will likely go up again when this one runs out. This place has become my hangout and is full of great people well worth whatever badge(s) you can afford.
I lurked here for almost a year before I joined/contributed so I kinda felt I owed it to the forum. Ill pony up again when this runs out because this place brings me such info and entertainment I want it to be around a long time.
Have to say I'd cough up too if it wasn't for PayPal. Has anyone figured a way for a Brit to contribute without lining the pockets of PayPal?
Unfortunately, it's tedious (money order via snail mail to Jon). However, all is not lost ... Thanks to billybag for heads-up.
