Would a large Aeronaut packing cube fit in the Synapse 25, assuming the main compartment is also packing a loaded cache w/ rails and notebook (and maybe ipad)?

Edit: Nevermind, got mine in today and was able to measure. Think it would be a bit big.

Actually... I think it'll work. It might be a bit of a squeeze width-wise but it should still fit.

Hear hear on the Jet Pens. Don't know if you're into the Bento box thing but if you are....

Glad you're happy with the S25.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this. How tough is the dyneema fabric?

I was already sold on the Aeronauht...still think it be better strictly because of capacity, though:)The more I can fit in the carry on the better.

The s25's bottom pocket is a little bigger than the s19. The zipper sits on top of the bottom pocket whereas the 19, kinda sits in the middle.

That was really my only complaint about the 19. I like need the bag to stand alone. I always felt like the bottom, which really is part of the front since its round, was gonna gat dirty. Still I carried hed it standing close by for probably 6 months and I still keep it clean enough to resell to a happy Member:)

Last night I had a dream about the synapse 25. In my dream I was debating which color to get. In my dream I was debating dynema wasabi as well as black with Iberian.

I'm concerned that the dynema's patterns are too flashy, I don't want to stand out.

Yup. Was a concern for me when I had the 19. In the beginning I liked the bottom pocket, but after a while, getting things in and out if it and constantly readjusting the clear organizing cube started to annoy me. The 25's bottom pocket to me is more proportional and again, stands upright on its own.

Along with the dyneema material, it's the best backpack I've ever owned.

It seems like the dyneema's pattern is flashy, but once you get it, you'll realize it's not. In fact, I don't even notice it. I love love love dyneema. It's strong, light and it just plain looks good. And it doesn't attract (if any or even notice it) as much dirt/fur.

I tried the large and decided it was a tighter fit at the top than I wanted. I returned it for a couple of mediums.

Tarfu took a few pictures for me in a different thread with a large cube in his S25. Not sure exactly which model it was though.

That's what I was concerned about being that the large cube was 18.7 and the compartment size of the s25 was 20, meaning the corners of the cube might have to be folded.
