Welcome back. I like how you keep the rubber padding in the vise-grip pliers, for when you need to not scratch the device being gripped. Makes sense.
Thanks guys, it's good to be back I cut it out of garden hose and it works pretty well. I also have a piece separately for the pipe wrench, but I forgot to mention that.
It's a Fireti Omega titanium wallet, I got it in the original kickstarter run. The clip is not standard though, it's an aftermarket ZT clip.
Sorry if I missed it (been away from the EDC world for a while) but what spyderco is that? Custom scales and spacer I'm guessing? Tis lovely.
It's a customized paramilitary 2. OD micarta scales and translucent green G10 backspacer done by a local knifemaker, acidwash by me.
It's been a while since I posted an update on my EDC, but there wasn't a lot of change to document. But in the last couple of weeks I was able to update my gear to a point I have been planning on a long time. So here you go, in multiple posts: My basic, on person EDC hasn't changed. Don't fix what ain't broken! I wanted a nice multitool/flashlight sheath and after a small detour I've finally found what I needed. Custom made by a local leathersmith: Contents are: Leatherman Charge TTi with bit kit Fisher X-750 space pen Zebralight SC600w Mk II Since I don't always like having a sheath on my belt, I wanted it to be easily removable from there and be able to attach it to my backpack. The metal clip is surprisingly secure (maybe even too hard to remove from my belt) and the webbing loops allow me to attach the sheath to PALS webbing with siamese slik clips.
I've been lusting after a Mystery Ranch 3DAP for two years now and I finally got the funds and means together to get one. It seems too big for everday use, but since I go into the firehouse for 24 hours each shift, it's perfect for what I need.
