Here is my current edc, not on the pics are my keys and my phone with heaphones. I am from Germany so i am not allowed to carry a gun, i am also forbidden to carry a knive with longer blade than 12cm and no locking folders :-(. The first pic shows my fixed knive, currently with paracord grip but i will make a grip out of wood as soon as the wood has dried. The sheat is also just a beta, a new one will be made once the grip is finished. The flashlight is a fenix ld20 and a sog multitool. On the right is my maxped fatty. Hi and welcome to EDCF. Always good to see a fellow german here. That is a nice and comprehensive setup. What kind of reactios do you get when you take that fixed blade out? I thought about edc-ing a small fixed a few times but ultimately decided against it because of all the sheep. I normally edc a slipjoint stay on the good side of the law. By the way: You can carry a locking folder here, but it must be one where you need two hands to open it.
I know about the two hands but i find it not handy enough with two hand opening. The fixed knive gets some strange looks but i don't care and the people i know dont mind it. Im from Karlsruhe BaWü.
I had it laying around from a friend who is in the army and if i get low blood sugar or just need a sugar kick i can eat it. I also know a lot of diabetics so it could be usefull. This are also things i often carry around. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
would like to see more detailed pics of the tt essential and added pouches. maybe you could do one on person?
Here is the pack on by bag i am 1,80m and about average built The Staps are thin but padded and it has a chest strap , on the chest strap closure is a whistle The pack opens about a third of the height not more. on the back is a slip pouch for a hydration bladder (3 Liters) on the top is a velcro loop too hold it in place. The od pouches are also from TT . The scale is metric. The bottle pouch is from ebaybanned and the brown pouch is from begadi and foldet out it is about 30cm deep and 12cm in diameter and has a drawstringclosure on the top.
i also modified a 2pistol mag holde to hold my fixed blade an my flashlight. For the knive i fixed a leather sheath with velcro into the mag pouch.
The knive is a viper middle from here and its blade is about 8 cemtimeters long the legal limit in germany is a lenght of 12 centimeters.
Servus! Nice, well-rounded setup. May I ask what you would use the two hot glue sticks for? Karlsruhe! I lived in Bulach for some time. It's a small world
Thx for asking, now that i thougt about it, i couldnt find a good use for it, so i removed it from the pack. I also removed the screwdriver since i also carry a multitool. I now leave the screwdriver at the lab where i use it most.
Finally got the time to shot some new pictures, the knife is the same as before but i made a wooden handle for it and a new sheath out of leather. The new pack is the hillpeoplegear tarahumara. Since its now summer i carry a boonie with me . By todesfrosch1988 By todesfrosch1988
Hi from Essen. I don`t have a problem with the locking blade.I allways have one on me and never had a problem with the cops.when i was helping in the car accident yesterday the cop that took my eyewitness report just looked at it and asked if i needed it for work and when i sayed yes it was ok for him aslong as it was in its sheeth on my belt.
