Hi gadgetjack, Thanks. I like it a lot! When I'd ordered it, it was out of stock, so I ordered the drop point Griptilian (551) and meant to cancel the Ritter but forgot. I ended up with both of them and I like them both. But I prefer the Ritter. I feel very confident in it for both EDC and hiking / camping. Don

You're welcome. I'm not exactly a knife expert, but I do think it has a very useful blade shape. It's quite a slicer. Some people don't like the Griptilian handle, but I like it. It does sound a little "plasticky" but that's because it doesn't have full liners. It appears to be very sturdy. Enjoy and stimulate that economy by buying a new knife! :thumbsup:

I'm really happy with T.H.E. Wallet J.R. It's "Just Right" size wise for me. I think the original would be too big.
