I hate Spec-Ops' habit of just dropping new product into the mix without a mention on their front page.

From them - most retailers will have slightly lower prices.

And given the usual progression of clones and knock-offs, you will probably see quite a few more popping up to fill the leg/shoulder pocket niche.

ACUs are relatively new, so the "ACU-specific" product lines should be forming up about now.

    SpiBelt

From what I can gather, this is a small pouch and belt combo marketed towards runners - the above link goes to the website and their other product, "Spi Bands." Basically glorified straps to hold music boxes and the like.

That new Max pocket organizer is really cool. I carry a lot of pens and pencils and this looks like a really good way to keep them in check...

Rescue essentials do some very good pouches designed to be for FAKs but would also make excellent organisers, of course they also do some good stuff to go in them and they also apparently offer discount to forum members, or did before Christmas.

How about this one from BlackHawk? Does anyone have it? Is it worth the money? Thinking of getting one but it seems a bit biggish...

Pfffft..... I like CC, and their products, but they are just so full of :censored: sometimes.

"...designed from the ground up as travel document holder..."

Yeah. :censored:ing. right. Why won't it hold an unfolded piece of paper, then ? Isn't that what most documents are printed on?
It's a cool looking business card holder. Which is fine. I'm sure folks will find all kinds of good uses for it. But come on...

The Blackhawk model is just another clone of the Spec Ops model.

I hate to say it, but Max actually came up with a good idea when they put another row of elastic on the opposite pouch.

Not to mention ... the dual zipper is a welcomed addition as well.

    Hmm, I missed that.

So three major improvements - second row of elastic loops, double zipper and PALS webbing on the back.

Grumble. I might have to get one after all.

    -Trevor

Edit: Four - the clip on the key strap looks like a more secure model.

This isn't a small organizer, per se, but I thought it worthy of mention = Diplomat Pocket Organizer from LA Police Gear. And on clearance, although I don't know if its an actual clearance or one of their regular prices.

Is there any hint when the Maxped. pocket organizer will show up? One little strip of elastic will go a long way for me. Though I'll miss the snaps like the CountyComm version has; I use those a lot since I don't have to remove my belt.

Zip lock bag or one of those pencil cases that you clip to a 3 ring binder works nicely and inexpensively.
