I've been making some Ti straws, ranging in length from 8.5" to 9". They are made from 5/16" x .035" tubing. I'm really enjoying mine for milkshakes, as I was fed up with the way the plastic ones collapsed.
    Here's some pictures:

The wall thickness is way overkill, but you can be sure you'll never hurt it!

Cool, should cut the length down a little and put a pocket clip on it, like the ones from fisher, so you can keep it on you in your pocket,,, JR

You can get it at pretty much any major Ti distributor. Just use the measurements in the OP.

They do go nicely with the Ti Chopsticks I have. I'll post a picture later, if I remember...

I would LOVE one of these, especially with a pocket clip to keep it secure in my jacket pocket. It would look great with laser engraving. You should consider selling them.

By the way, I think they are called bombillas when they can be used to stir your drink as well as sip it.

I am selling them on another site, but I can't sell them here until I have some more posts. Do a google search for my username and Titanium Straws, and you should be able to find the thread.
I'll see if I can't find some pocket clips that will fit well.

I was at 7-11 last week, and they had anodized aluminum straws by the slurpee machine. For .99 I figured :censored:, and grabbed one. They come in 4-5 colors too. Sure made the Slurpee easier to drink.

The Titanium ones Tekno_Cowboy has are far better than the aluminum ones, fwiw.

Flame colored Titanium >> colored aluminum

The stuff I use is actually the thin stuff, I could have gotten it twice as thick!

    Speaking of Flame coloring....

I might send a few to someone with a bit more experience to get them colored, or possibly find a shop willing to do a bit more professional job.

Could a moderator please move this thread to the appropriate sales forum?

    -or-

Should I just start a new thread in the sales forum?
