I have 2 thumb drives; one I just keep pictures on, the other I have pix & documents. I do not keep either of them on a key chain.

As far as medical and emergency contacts, I subscribe to and wear a MedicAlert tag. The tag itself has a file number, a very brief summary of my medical conditions, and a 365/24/7 800 number. First responders are able to simply call the number and will be informed of the meds I take. On file also are my doctors, couple of key relatives contact info, and my rabbi.

Although there are several organizations/companies offering such emergency medical tags, MedicAlert is widely recognized as being the oldest and the 'grand-daddy'. Near as I can tell all first responders, ER rooms, etc., are familiar with them. Been around since the 1950's.

For purposes of this thread, the real beauty is no one needs to figure out how to access a thumb drive in the field. Just a simple phone call.

    L'chaim!
