Fenix - Plastic optics and no clip.
Thrunite - Can unscrew on you in the pocket (I have no experience with this particular light, but I have the Oligh i3s eos wtich are very very similar).

I bought the Fenix E99Ti for my wife, to attach to her housekeys. She liked it enough to buy another to put on her car keys. Then I picked up another for my house keys. It's small and lightweight enough that it carries well, but if I wanted a standalone light for EDC pocket carry, I would want a clip on it.

I will likely not buy another Thrunite light from my experience with them so far.
I have several Fenix lights, carry 3 all the time, literally all the time and a always eager to try a new one.

    YMMV as they say.

I've got a couple of Ti2's. Both working great so far, one of them has been submerged regularly with no issues.

I own both. I carry the Thrunite Ti (Christmas Limited Edition). Less expensive, lower low, higher high. I've been carrying it since late December and it hasn't let me down.

I have the Christmas version and have been running rechargeables in it since I got it. Excellent light. I love it.

I have Fenix E99 Ti that was/is carried occasionally. Been submerged and dropped and runs just great. Solid little light. I do prefer a clip and clickies, so this gets carried less than others.

I also carry a ThruNite T10T off work and really like it. I see quality and both and have had no real bad experiences with either brands.

I have a Ti3 in my keychain and have had no worries with it. I imagine both are quality lights so you can't go wrong with either one.

That's it. Actually you can and cannot go wrong at the same time. I own both (Ti and SS respectively) and build quality is very good for both.

Thrunite is cheaper and has a very low, i.e. moonlight mode (that some people find very useful, but for a "more usable" brightness, you have to twist twice, which could be not so convenient. High is brighter in comparison as well, but highest level is subject to variation due to electronic's tolerances. Fenix starts at a higher brightness level, runtime in highest level is longer (iirc) but also not as bright, but who will notice in real life. If you can: buy both )
