I wasn’t expecting thus for a few more months but BAM! It is a thing of compact beauty so far. Seems really sturdy and tight and well thought out too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ah yes! Isn't technology wonderful! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/klinkokids/ti-eds-titanium-everyday-screwdriver
after knee-jerkingly joining in on the kickstarter with my judgement temporarily disabled by the cool factor of a titanium frame lock bit driver, my interest cooled off a little. I'm just not sure how to implement it in a way that can justify the price. Seeing your pictures though, it triggered some kind of anticipation again. Still not sure how to make good use of it, but looking forward to find it in my mailbox one of these days.
Im right there with you! I had sort of forgotten about this one really and it is months ahead of schedule too but now that it is in hand I am pretty happy with it too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'd be interested in your feedback on this. I'm sure you could give it a good workout in your daily tech duties. Not that it'll replace any of my Klein stuff, but still, I might have a use for this. Thanks!
Same here but the only thing that bugs me with the Kleins is that they don’t take a standard but really anyway? You have to use the stupid double ended bits and none outside the box really. I have Snap-On ratcheting drivers in my pouches and can cram a lot of standard bits inside the handle too. But the best thing about this new tool is just how tiny and easy to control it is as well as being so easy to always carry! So on Thursday for example I will usually not carry mu Skinth with the Centerdrive,2 more lights and Bit Set but I can still easily carry an ES4,Knife and this Nugget and be ready for anything almost! Makes me Thankful! For a little more perspective Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree, actually all my "K's " are dedicated, but ya, I'll take compatibility over brand loyalty any day! Great compact kit btw! And pocketable too... Nice!
It appears that mine was put on a donkey caravan through the Himalayan mountains. Scheduled to arrive at a European distribution center in late spring. Should have it by summer then. Naeeh, probably not, but it's sure taking its time to get here. Left origin country 11/20, no update since.
Wiha bits already on board! I have pretty much been screwing everything I can find since getting it too........well,um,you know?
This is a large investment for something that isn't a dedicated tool. Such mini tools are generally meant as stand-ins for when your main tool set isn't readily on hand. It's too bad they didn't provide vertical grooves in the scales for better grip. But at least you can angle the frame 90 degrees for added leverage. I wonder if they have a micro-ratchet version in the works...
Actually it is tougher than it looks and much more than I thought it would be! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
