Looking for the smallest/thinnest pouch for my leatherman charge.

I know technically the belt clip would be the thinnest way of carrying a leatherman, BUT I would like to find the smallest pouch. Preferably I would like one with MOLLE capability.

I have the stock black nylon belt pouch with the sleeves for the bit panels, but when out hunting or hiking I don't need the extra bits and would like a more streamlined pouch to mount on the pack and keep crap off it.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks!

    Baaaaaaazing!

Putting in in my pocket would not solve the issue of attaching it to a pack nor keeping crap from getting inside it.

Fold out the lanyard ring, put a small split ring on it and a good carabiner, clip it on whatever you like.

The new nylon sheath without pockets. Here is my charge TI in one.

Or the RAE Gear Metal Sleeve would be absolute smallest I believe.

Both are sheaths though, would need a molee conversion. [IMG][IMG]

Yup. I say the metal gear one. Or, a kydex sheath for the belt.

Kydex would also work. I actually modded my RAE Gear sheath to also hold a Fenix E12 with Kydex.

You could definitely punch out the 2 rivets and replace replace the included belt clip with a mollee strap. I used 2 pronged rivets from a local hardware store, I think they were 12 cents a piece or something.

I like the kydex/metal belt carriers, I'll have to grab one for my EDC.

I was looking more for a secure way to carry my leatherman in one of my MR packs. Most (and all of mine) mystery ranch packs have a small grid of PALS webbing on the inside, I've found this to be the perfect place to mount something you want to find 'in the blind' 100% of the time. The need for it to be a pouch is to both keep dirt/mug from getting on it, and also keep it locked into it's pouch when I'm pulling items in and out of my packs.

I ended up buying the 'large' MOLLE leatherman pouch. Looks like the smallest one they make with MOLLE, should get it next week. 12$ So the price isn't amazing, but hopefully it works.

I've actually phased mine out. (Metal Sleeve)

Kinda awkward to slide it back in. And Everytime I bump something it does some damage.

Plus sometimes I didn't want it quite so out in the open.
