Things we collect and also EDC

@Sinkhole Now ya' went and done it!! Very cool playing card collection.

I've always had a thing for playing cards, but I never thought of collecting them, and I had no idea there were cool ones out there like the ones you got.

Just had to order about 6 decks of them (to get started). Oh...and some clay casino chips too (it's another thing with me). DOH!!

I could very well go off the deep end with this one!!!

Just watches (about 6 in regular rotation, depending on mood and activity level.)

 

Hat pins. I like to keep one or two on whatever hat I am wearing. Started collecting in scouts as a boy, still going.

I have a large collection of lapels pins, too. 5 cork boards worth. The categories include travel destinations, many MLB -related, many NBA-related, science and tech companies, space-related and a bunch of misc stuff. Also, one board full of military pins.

 

That's cool man. Patch collecting seems to get all the glory, but I've always liked pins. You should post some pics of your collection, maybe start a new threada see who else out there collects. I'd be in.

 

The Usual Suspects coins caught my eye and made me realize I lost my password to the USN somewhere along the way. How are things over there these days?

I have images handy for 2 of the 5 boards. I'll try to remember to take photos of the other 3.





the top photo deals with MLB, obviously, and the lower is comprised of NBA, technology, science and space-related pins.

 

Those are cool. I have one laying around, maybe I need more.

 

OK, here are the remaining 3 cork boards of pins:

 

I collect beer bottle caps.. One of two from endless brands over a lot of years including trips to Europe and Asia. Boxes of them.

 

Unfortunately, everything I EDC I also collect. Which is why I have way too many knives, watches, lights, SAKs...

 

Watches, knives, zippo lighters, hats, gloves, multi-tools, too many things really.
