Overall, I like it. Although I think they should make the fold out screwdriver locking, and the scissors less confusing (I forget which way to unfold 'em every time I go to open them up, lol). And it needs a lanyard hole/attachment.
I’ve got a new old stock Osprey Flap Jack pack on the way. I loved the courier/messenger model I had a few years ago and decided to search for the backpack version. This will replace a Timbuk2 Especial Medio backpack that I’ve been using for the past 2 years that has great looks and build quality but not so great organizational features and ease of use. I’ve also got a bottle of spray-on Nikwax to coat the outside since it is the beginning of rainy season (hopefully) here in the PNW.
I snagged a Zebra Sharbo X off of eBay for $20 last week and it came in Saturday. Now, if I could just remember where I put all of my D1 refills...
So, if ya hadn't've guessed already, I mostly tend to like using/wanna use items made from white or grey metals, like a few over yonder (& ones with a dark coating applied to 'em), and what arrived today goes along with those colorways: ETA: Huh, small world... Another ks project's reward arrived from a different delivery service, yet it's still keepin' with the theme; imagine that :
@XTAR thanks again for your kind opportunity to test this you gave to me ! See the charger's complete test in my thread: Nick4305's alley (most of all Alox).
just bought me a French F1 and F2 rucksack a couple of days ago when we visited Paris for a week long vacation. F1 was brand spanking new while the F2 was used and missing the left strap. Currently setting up F1 for trial EDC laptop bag.
Close to a month after the Black Friday sale at Olight UK, I FINALLY received the torch I ordered. The deal was for an Olight Warrior 3 (orange body) and an i3T (black body). The Warrior 3 was to replace my old M2R Pro, that I lost when the thing bounced out of my pocket - without my noticing - while running for a tram . I figured that the Orange one would be easier to find, where a black one would hide in the shadows. The smaller i3T is a bonus torch, and will live in my work bag (2xAAA batteries versus the Warrior 3s proprietary 21700, with a 5000mAh capacity). The Warrior 3 will be my go-to work torch; I've hitherto been replying on my S1R Baton Mk 1, and while it's a capable torch, it hasn't got the throw range that the larger Warrior 3 (or my previous M2R Pro) torch has. The i3T arrived a little over a week after ordering the deal. And that's where things fell over, somewhat. Despite a chain of emails to and from their customer services person, it took four weeks for the Warrior 3 to get to me. In these days of super-fast delivery from pretty much everyone, to find that Olight UK are still stuck in the 1980s with month-long turnaround is depressing as heck. Still, I have the thing now, and it'll take a LOT more to get this away from me (the torch comes with a rather decent belt pouch, for a start!). No photo, as for some reason, my hosting has flubbed this external image demand thing right on the nose, and I can't fix it, so I have to find another way of doing that
