I normally prefer Gerber Multitools, but I seem to have either misplaced mine or lost it. Either way, I needed a new multitool, so I ordered this Leatherman Wave + that was on sale. Are they any good? When I was still active duty military, some guys would have Gerbers, some would have Leatherman's. The older Leatherman's kind of hurt my hands when using the plier, so I never bought any for myself until now.
I have the wave. No plus the one without the replaceable wire cutters. I purchased it originally when I had a job as a maintenance man. It was my go to for everything and filled that role very well. I also have had several older leatherman models and I can tell you that the waves handle open for using the pliers is very comfortable compared to some earlier iterations. Not as many sharp angles to bare down on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
got me a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 flashlight. The Olight i5T was my choice but the price of this Lumintop was appealing. Planning to get the Olight i5T next month.
Got me a Wuben E18, instead of the Olight which I initially planned to buy. Holding it off until next month. Chose to buy this Wuben, and also 3 cheapo flashlights from Aliexpress. Compared to my Lumintop AA 2, this Wuben feels much better on my grip, but Lumintop definitely is more brighter though.
Just in, my new tac pens. I regretted buying more of the black ones, instead of the stainles one with replacable endpoint.
Hi, I'm not godcode... but want to say that you can find lot of those (or similar) in SS or aluminium on the evilbay, for three bucks or so on. Cheers
Looks to be an Uzi Tactical Pen with glass breaker (and possibly handcuff key inside), often called 'Uzi Tac Pen 6'. I've got one of them myself, found it on evilbay a few years back. Didn't cost much, although I can't recall the exact price, but they're still available.
@kikaida sorry, they did not have brand when I bought them at AliX. While not really an EDC item, our BOB (body opponent bag) has arrived. Me and wife enrolled on basic Krav Maga course and this will help us do the practice hits 'safely'
I bought a Creatrill brand neoprene ankle holster. It is designed to carry a pistol and a magazine, but I used it to hold a Knipex Cobra pliers. Alternatively, it can hold a Leatherman multitool. My wife sewed the bottom edge of the main compartment closed so the tool won't fall through.
just arrived: cheapo lights. Alonefire flashlights and a Convoy T2. The T2 is almost same size with my Wuben.
just bought me two folding utility cutters. they are well made, but seem I still prefer the cheaper and simplier pop knife box cutter that I bought back in the US.
Arrived today, having been mailed on Saturday by EDCGear here in the UK (excellent service, that, HIGHLY recommended!): A CountyComm Sliding Titanium T-Driver (Gen2). Not as expensive as you might think over here, I bought it to extend the usage of my Leatherman Wave+, bit extender, and hexbit set Excellent bit of kit
Ordered the deep carry clip from Benchmade for my bugout. Left a week ago on a camping trip and leaving the garage tge small clip hooked on a toolcase and pulled the knife out of my pocket. Thought it was lost, luckily I found it and decided it needed a bigger clip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
