You just reminded me that I 'might' have to tune up my mower...:(. Did it a couple of years ago - I don't mow weekly so I might be OK. Hope so. My 'go-to' for the tune up kit WAS Sears ... don't think I can do THAT again!

I've got five washable face masks inbound from tombihn.com; they should arrive today. When you buy a mask from them, you get one, and TB also donates one to a hospital or other facility. I thought that was pretty cool.

This is the second carburetor kit I have bought off Amazon or Ebay. I can't buy rebuild kits for what I can get new carburetors for. Doesn't pay to rebuild them. Plus the kits usually come with plugs filters etc. Enough for a complete tune up

Upgrading my flashlight. This is my 2nd solitaire. The first one was the old non-led that I did not like. Will be replaching my Photon keychain led light. Had problems with battery running out even if you did not use it.

Some EDC Capsules (came with spare O rings, which was a nice touch)...

    • The small one for a days' worth of my meds (heart, blood pressure, etc),
    • The medium sized one as a cash stash (the new UK polymer bank notes don't fit in the current one, as they don't fold down quite as small), which can be opened at either end, rather useful if you want to get something slippery that's trying to unwrap into the walls of the tube ;)
    • Aaaaand I have utterly NO idea what use I'll put the big one to; it's not the size that'll fit easily into a pocket. I'll figure out something to stick in it, and where to store it (likely in the EDC bag, I reckon), just a question of what ;)

I already keep a pair of 123s in with the powerbank that lives in the EDC bag; they're good for the Olights I carry. I like the way you think, though :D

With a hat-tip to twin63 for the heads-up, and thanks to a speedy delivery from Military 1st, here in the UK, I'm now the proud owner of a Helikon-Tex Pocket med Insert.

In the first photo, you see the newly arrived pouch, next to the existing BASK (Bumps And Scrapes Kit), containing a few variously sized plasters (US: Band Aids) from a well-respected household make, Elastoplast, with some non-alcoholic antiseptic cleaning wipes.

In the second photo, you see the properly equipped BASK, or Bumps And Scrapes Kit, complete with additional bits from a 'Compeed' brand small blister kit intended for use on feet (blisters can turn a lot of people into non-walking wounded. I've found blister kits to be invaluable over the years. You don't use them often, but when you need 'em, they're there :) .

Given that I've been through I don't know how many ziplok bags in the time I've maintained a BASK, this lovely little bit of very handy kit will save me bumbling around my works bag or car for the blasted thing, when it can neatly fit in an outer pocket of the bag, or in the trouser pocket of my 5.11 trousers [IMG]

@RogerStenning I hope the Pocket Med Insert works well for you. I'm planning to order a couple more for other kits.
