    A Spartan head for a CS Spartan, perfect. I may have to get one of those. Where did you find it?

    @karlito
    It´s made by PopsCustomClips. I found them on etsy.com.
    Check out the other models also.

    Now I need a spartan head for the lanyard :)

    The tag on that one says Robesbon. I'd ordered a few different cases, from aliexpress, hoping at least a couple of them would work out for my needs, and they fit well and will protect the glasses when tossed in a bag/backpack/luggage or cargo pocket.

    Got a 'classic' Casio on the way, the DW290: [IMG]

    Amazon says it will arrive by 'Friday'....

    I first got interested when I saw Robert Mueller wearing some kind of Casio on the inside of his wrist... lately this watch has popped up all over the watch videos on YouTube. Turns out it has a cult sort of following on WatchUSeek also. And it did a cameo appearance on Tom Cruise' wrist in the first of his Mission Impossible flicks.

    Appears the 'movement' is basically the same as the G-shock 5600 series. The watch is of course not a G-shock; but then it sells for about half the price or so of the basic DW5600. From what I read, Mueller supposedly started wearing one of these during his days in Vietnam - he was there in 1968 ~ 1969.

    Given that the first G-shock came out in 1983, it is entirely conceivable that the DW290 is the 'ancestor' of the G-shock.

    Looking forward to wearing this!

    L'chaim!

    Have had a few of these over the years. Great watches. I wear mine occasionally when doing particularly dirty work or need a digital that fits under a sleeve cuff. For general purposes the display is to small for my aging eyes and it doesn’t sync to the atomic clock. I do like the style and size and the price point can’t be beat.

    Yet another flashlight I really have no need for at all thanks to the enablers on this forum:

    Fenix E12

    I'm sure they're great, but I've got flashlights coming out of my hooha.

    That's the one I "started" with, if you don't count my old Maglites... I still carry it daily.
