Got my Oakley Flak 2.0 (Asia Fit) sunglasses in! I stayed away from most Oakleys because they never fit me right - the lens would be too close to my eyes and the lens would rest on my cheeks, making them very uncomfortable. Then I saw some youtube videos about the Asia fit and realized these might fit me. The local store on base never carries Asia Fit, so I ordered these online and lo and behold! These fit great and are very light and comfortable. The Prizm Road lenses definitely work and the optical clarity is unbelievable, so I'm thinking of getting a pair for my wife now.
Have a Streamlight Siege coming today, after a power outage for almost 2 hours on Monday night with perfectly clear skies here in Eastern NC I learned i was not prepared so Im building up my arsenal at home. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
A few molle pouches from Aliexpress. Some emt shears pouches to see what style I like, and a flashlight pouch. I've had a tool pouch with side release buckles, and a combination tourniquet/Shears pouch arrive today. I'm actually trying to find something that will hold two adult dose Epipens. They are currently in a Maxpedition Janus, which is too bulky on the side of my RUSH 12.
Got the Siege from Amazon today except as it sometimes happens i ordered the 540 lumen version and they sent me the 340 lumen one im annoyed because I payed the price for the upgraded and didnt receive it Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Just picked up a Princeton Tec Vizz 2018 in blue. My Fenix HL55 gets too heavy and doesn't stay in place while I have my respirator on while under crawls and what not, and the company gives out free AAs and AAAs so its another incentive to buy it Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
More Chinese junk molle pouches from Aliexpress. I've been please with almost everything so far. I also ordered a steel pot/mug for use on a bushbox stove. Half the price of the same thing on Amazon.
I look on aliexpress for lots of stuff, but I’m hesitant to buy eating and cooking utensils from China. They put melamine in milk! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was looking at the Victorionox and the Topeak, and I liked the positive stop for the Topeak better. Very happy with it. I've used the Mountz mini ratchets before and keep them in my gun bags but the Topeak may be replacing all those.
I keep the Topeak set in my small "Tactical Trunk Money" kit (small tool kit, fits inside a Maxpud Micro pocket organiser, and has one of those tactical trunk monkey patches on it). I've used it to fix minor issues on the buses I drive before now
Israeli T3 pressure bandages. Ordered then from Israeli First Aid online. Hoping for long shelf life I bought some cheapo vacuum sealed israeli trauma dressings (without pressure bar....oops, didnt check descroption!), and was really quite disappointed very difficult to open and really poor quality overall hope the t3 will be better for my med kit needs
I have a Cadet, and it's just too thin for my liking. The Farmer that arrived yesterday is perfect. Love the weight and size. Sent from my SM-G930R6 using Tapatalk
Sanrenmu srm 7130 fixed blade knife (the one with the circular cutouts in the handle. I saw one in someone's post here yesterday, and figured it would make a nice 'woods' knife as a backup to my Mora and Husqvarna hatchet. Can't carry fixed or lock blades without 'Good reason' here in the UK
I too am a fan of the Farmer. You might also find that the Pioneer-X, with its scissor, is useful on some days. Same size as Farmer; no saw though. I have both is silver. L'chaim! Moshe ben David
I considered the Pioneer X, but I have a Victorinox Compact (in blue) that I like for days when scissors might be needed. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk
