I've carried a Skinth 2XL Shield in my left leg cargo pocket for 2+ years and I need just a little bit more room in it, so I pulled the trigger on a Mondo Shield this morning. And so the waiting game begins again
I decided on the gb scandinavian forest axe. My second one Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G920F met Tapatalk
I've got a Wisport Sparrow 20L in Multicam, and a couple of pouches on the way which will be arriving tomorrow so I am quite excited about that.
All of the above received. Might do more of a review thing later on, but wanted to share some initial impressions. -5.11 Rush 24: not stoked, so it's probably going back. It's probably a good pack, but so different from typical Scandinavian designs, that I prefer to play it safe and find another pack. Considering the Tasmanian Tiger Mission Mk2, but there isn't many user reviews to find on it. Any experience will be appreciated. -5.11 defender flex slim pants: I'm keeping these cause they seem to be comfy and good quality. However they do not deserve the "slim" designation. They are more loose fit than my most loose fit jeans, but just tight enough that I'll keep them. Also the size is weird. Got 32/32, but the waist feel almost like a 33". They are pretty long as well, but that don't really bother me. Hopefully both issues above will be somewhat mitigated by a few rounds of washing. When new colors arrive, I'll try a 31" waist for comparison. -The leather sheath for the F1 looked very good and fitted perfectly, but hasn't seen any use yet. Back on topic, ordered yet another gun, a bead blasted watch buckle and a zulu strap. I think that should do it for a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got this today.. Pioneer harvester, but it is not for me. I'm giving this one away It's not failure if you learn something from it
I always wanted one of those. I have the farmer. Have been wondering about the bill hook blade. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G920F met Tapatalk
So has I but Im not willing to trade the small screwdriver so I will stick with the farmer. But seeing it in real does trigger something It's not failure if you learn something from it
32 Gb SanDisk MicroSD cards, Bravo Concealment IWB (Glock 43) holster, Vickers Tactical slide stop. Nothing too cool this week.
It's been a while since I ordered something for EDC. Just got this in the mail today, and I'm going to try it out for a couple of weeks to see if I like it or not. Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smart watch.
Interesting. I didn't even know that Nitecore made bags. I guess that's why I'm subscribed to this thread, duh.
After reading the 'macgyver kit' thread I just could not resist and bought an original Macgyver Paperclip from eBay.. Sent from my NSA monitored iPhone using Tapatalk
I think they don´t make bags. They buy bags and put Nitecore stickers on. First I thought: Nitecore make nice lamps. Why don´t they just proceed making more nice lamps? Why is it needed to resell third party products? But this bag is well made, nice quality, perfect size for me, grippy handle, with removeable shoulder strap, Molle on both sides, extra compartments, flexible straps and velcro loop in the bag.
So it transpires I really am not a massive fan of this bag, it's too small and I wouldn't buy something in Multicam again!
I've got a leather snap tray from Levenger on order. It's going to be for doing my pocket dumps at night. http://www.levenger.com/DESK-13/DESKTOP-ORGANIZERS-86/Snap-Tray-13546.aspx
Got a Gerber Dime and EVA hard case to build my Fieldcraft Survival inspired low profile EDC/travel survival kit. Applied adhesive SOLAS reflective tape on the outside. Sent from my iPhone 7 using Tapatalk Pro
One in the mail, one bought from a shop, but it's the Maxpud pocket organisers you can see. The interesting thing here is that they're both slightly larger, by about half an inch on both length and height, as the official specs on the Maxpud website. Not, you understand, that I'm complaining, it's merely a slightly pleased observation! Regards the SARK-110 Antenna Analyser - it's an amazing bit of kit; probably the smallest analyser out there, rated from 0.1 to 230 MHz with 1 Hz of resolution, can download the information to a computer, and inherently portable; I've fitted the rubber edge cover to mine, for added peace of mind, but it's saved me ages in tuning the antenna on my car (quad bands can be a pain!), and will likely help me on portable days out in the field with my field radio (another Yaesu, this time an FT-817ND all band / all mode low power radio). Amazing bits of kit Anyhow, the notebook pouch will sit in my pocket most times, the radio matching pouch to be brought out when I need it
