An O-Light magnetic charging cable. One end of cable to USB source and the other two magnetic pads attach to either end of a battery. It charges 18650s, Eneloops NiMH and many other batteries. As it is a cable and not based on a frame it can handle almost all cylindrical form factors. Crucially it folds up into a space far smaller than any conventional charger that I have seen. Ideal for storing in an EDC pouch, and when combined with a USB power source or power store gives you complete flexibility over recharging your device batteries instead of carrying spares. It is almost idiot-proof with polarity and short detection. Obviously it only charges one battery at a time, and takes time to recharge (@750mA). For reasons I dont understand the (more bulky than this) single cell chargers from the likes of Nitecore only handled the lithium batteries.

    A double thumbs-up from me.

Just ordered the DeLorme Gazetteer for my state and the surrounding four states. The old ones were about seven years old and worn out. These are great for planning my hunting, fishing, and camping trips.

I got something awesome in the mail...

On March 20th I ordered a Ganzo 7533CF from a well known company in China (not Ganzo directly) and everything was correct on my address except the state was wrong. The company said they mailed the knife in good faith and would not refund or send another one. But on May 26th I FINALLY received my knife. So, I'm quite happy that I didn't just lose my money.

After some further sober minded contemplation (and, ahem, review of this month's purchasing overall!), I ended up cancelling the Leek. Already have a Leek with the Sandvik 14C28N steel; I'll put this on a wish list for a better date. Sigh.

BM 531 Pardue received today as promised from DLT Trading. These guys are great! Highly recommend them!

Although as previously reported I cancelled item 3 (the Leek with CF scales), I have a couple of Ganzo Firebird knives coming in on Friday. These guys have been acquiring a reputation as a value so I thought I'd give them a try... and thankfully still much less than the Leek I have put off on for now!

Oh? That's too bad. Late Boy Scout was very impressed with the CF Leek - said it's definitely worth it. Is it still on your radar or you've dropped the idea altogether?

I have a light coming in from a Massdrop group buy: Lumintop Tool Copper AAA Flashlight
    [IMG]

I also recently received two Zippos that I ordered from Massdrop. I don't smoke, but I like to have fire in my edc.

My third fixed blade bought by myself. Ever.

My first was its little sibling, the Fällkniven WM-1, bought 17 years and 1 month ago. Except from a Norwegian "samekniv" gifted to me by my father, this is also my first fixed blade over 3". Should arrive today.

@Lellobeetle: Seems we watch the same videos... LOL

No I haven't permanently discarded the wish for that knife. Just had to put it on hold for now. I may be risking it not be available later... that's called 'living on the edge' I guess...

How does this knife differ from the Mora Companion? The handle shape looks different I think but is there anything significant beyond that? Pricing isn't that much different from the Companion either. I have a Companion that I wear when I'm doing yard work. I could see myself adding one to the car bag also...
