    ...but it's an 800 lumen drop-in for D-cell Maglites from Matt at Adventure Sport Flashlights. Pretty cool piece of machining.

    I did a C-cell upgrade a while back. Forgot where I got the drop-in from, might have been Gene Malkoff. I'll see if I have some record. It's not going to be 800lm, though.

    Ah. Found it. That one was from Matt, also. Here's the (now ended) eBay auction.

    Looks like Malkoff has one too, here. For 3 or 4 C, not cheap.

    Oh man, i love it when the postal office collects all these presents for me and then delivers it all in one big seemingly random pile of bits;

    Battery holders for all kinds and sizes (AAA/AA/cr123/18650), some lithiums with good expiration, flushcutter snips, mechanical pencil and a dead cheap fm transmitter to get mah tunez from the iphone on mah 1973 boombox!!
