Hugsby XP-2 cheap light from that big South American river place. All of them were. I was looking at 1xAAA lights, preferably single mode. These showed up as a 'get all three for ...' deal. That one is a 2xAAA, and according to the box 140 LM. Depending on which ad you see, that output ranges from 100 -140 lm. For "inexpensive Oriental" stuff I've been favorably impressed by both AAAs. The build quality seems ok, the switches don't feel like junk (yet, at least), and battery life is about what you'd expect.

Just got this usb-power tester, it will definitely become a part of my backpack-edc.

I went through my chargers and cables and found about half of the cables were incapable of delivering more than about 450mA!

I've got a Rush 24, a TEC pixel, and a lid, cozy, and silicone ring for my Klean Kanteen pint cup incoming, should arrive by end of business today.
I've been after a Rush 24 for ages, pulled the trigger the other day. Hope it's all I've been expecting

There have been not a few dark mutterings, imprecations, muffled curses, and not a few rude words flying around Casa Roger today. I went and LOST my 24 oz Bubba Tumbler; I think I may have left the darn thing by a bus I was going to be driving, before someone told me that someone else had screwed up my daily duty yesterday.

I was hopping mad furious at the time; I'd attended the depot, booked in, left the garage, and made my way to the change-over point some three miles distant by public transport (close to 30 minutes in traffic over here), before someone bothered to tell me, as I was doing my walk-round of the bus, requiring me to hotfoot it back to the depot to sort that rostering mess out, that should never have occurred in the first place.

The individual responsible - allocations "officer" - now has a properly militarily chewed out backside and ears sixteen feet into his skull as well, for his troubles, of course.

Anyhow, in the red mist immediately after being told, I think I must have left the darn mug on a wall by the bus. It was gone by the time I got back there later in the day, of course. :stomp:

The lesson here for me to take on board is NOT to leave any of my kit lying around, lest I forget about it for whatever reason. Big surprise. Live and learn.

So, I've pulled the trigger on a Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Insulated Bottle, in black. Allegedly, this is the 20 oz version, but we'll see. I've also ordered the Café Cap for it too, both expedited deliveries from Amazon here in the UK.

There'll be a loss in capacity, made up for an increase in heat retention for the coffee I inhale - I mean drink :giggle: Also, being stainless steel (aside from the cap), it'll be easier to keep clean :D

One must ALWAYS look to the silver lining. Even if it's only stainless ;)

2 additional magazines for my Bulgarian Makarov showed up.

4 pounds of powder on the way; then finish my load work up for the Mak and I'm set. Just need to find an IWB holster for it.

I've had mine for a little more than 6 months and I still found an undiscovered pocket last week.
    It's a great bag IMO.
