Why yes, this is a 1 of 4 Brass TUKK from Tactical Keychains... Transmitted Electronically through Tapatalk
In today's mail, some P38 & P51 can openers and 1/8" x 2" firesteels as components for building some EDC keychain setups.
waiting on 3 pair of la police gear urban ops tactical pants (sierra, charcoal, coyote brown). according to the shipping notice, they should be here next wednesday.
The firesteels will look like this after I knot work them with some gutted paracord. Paracord firesteel fobs... by David Hopper, on Flickr I also add a brass safety pin to each of the can openers, because they can also come in handy, and they keep the can opener blade from opening all the way and poking holes in one's pockets and/or leg.
I tie them to be worn as a pendant, zipper pull on a bag, or fob on a keyring for 'Be Prepared' or 'Emergency' use, so I melt and crimp the end, which can be cut open and then the firesteel pushed down and out from the top for use. If you tie them like I do, you may be able to tuck them back in and re-crimp the end again a time or two, but this specific design with such a small firesteel (1/8" x 2") wasn't meant for repeated in/out of the paracord sheath like you would with a larger firesteel mounted in kydex/leather/PVC on a fixed blade knife sheath. I've gotten to where I give each firesteel a coat of clear nail polish to prevent any corrosion if repeatedly exposed to rain/sweat, but the current paracord firesteel I have on my keyring is about five years old and uncoated without any issues, so I don't know if that really makes a difference.
I just got a new job, at my dream company (yay!!), so, I ordered a few things I've had my eye on. 1. Keybar in the driftwood anodized Ti pattern 2. Griffin Pocket Tool 3. Carbon fiber money clip. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Ordered a couple of these to "train" with. Just a generic photo, but I did get some flags to put on the darts and handles. It'll be fun to bruise myself up a bit getting used to swinging them around. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
