In the mail today, a pair of Clip Rulers by Hightide of Japan, via The Journal Shop in London; ordered Saturday, here today These act as a combination bookmark for notebooks, a straight edge, and a dual-scale (metric, per 5mm and per mm either side) measure. Shown with one of my Field Notes notebooks and a Faber-Castell Perfect pencil for size comparison (Photos & montage by me, showing how they're supposed to be used ). NOTE: The clip ruler extends BELOW the bottom of the Field Notes note book, so be careful if you use these things, as they're made of what feels like anodised aluminium, overprinted with the measures. They're VERY nice, though

Durandal64 When you get time, give us a review of those mags bro! I've been on the fence about the 17 mags for a while now, and I keep getting mixed reviews from folks I don't know or trust.

My Bahco laplander and mora knife it came with finally came in today! I've heard negative reviews of the knife, but mine came reasonably sharp, and I must admit, it looks fantastic from here! I've very impressed!
Ross2187 bro, I've only had 1 Mora, and gifted it years ago, but I've got another on the way (split a double deal on a drop with a buddy). I've sharpened a many more knives than most folks see in their lifetime, and I'll say this; I've never gotten a knife sharper than that Mora I had. I bought one in a scandi grind, just to see what I could do with it on a set of Japanese water stones. I swear, I think I cut my eyeball once just looking at that knife after running it on a 16000grit natural stone!
Those clip rulers look like they're quite nice as well as being very useful and practical . I'll check them out later when I'm on the pc . Think I've just been enabled Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
