It made her too! It might be cheaper for her in the long run to get rid of me
Judging by your Christmas haul I think you are pretty safe.
Still waiting on a case of Curly Wurly's & 3 sd card notebooks from the 'zon. A pair of Carlos Ray 2 pants & another patch should be here tomorrow, a crapload of stuff from Sam'sclub auction sometime this weekend, and my control panel from TAD next Thursday. Oh, and a 3m usb to mini usb data & charge cable from Wally world so my new phone can sit on the table instead of in a chair when I charge it..
Two things I wanted all along and I finally pulled the trigger. A keychain sized light and a Russian watch.
What light is that?
Hey Brules it's a Jetbeam / Niteye Mini-1. This is the Ti version, sorta like what Thrunite did with their Christmas edition Ti light. Only two modes, but the size is what I was looking for.
Thanks... sweet light.
David? In Scotland? I got some from him. Super nice guy. It was so weird for me because he really went ut of his way to give me some and even apologized when it took him longer than he thought it would.
Congrats on your rocks
recently i got a red paisley hanky and one of those Todd begg kwaikens. here they are with my kwaiback
It was JEB, from Michigan. About 20 minutes after I posted he sent me a PM asking what I
wanted and for my address. The white piece on the lower left is actually petrified coral,
it throws some pretty good sparks.
I think mine was gifted by DavidAF or something. Good eggs there too
First up, a pair of Ti stash tubes from Cogent. These are 28mm diameter and about 48mm tall with the standard cap (the looped top is 54mm or so). I got these half price in Magnus's recent pre-price rise sale.
Another Kickstarter project: Minima wallet. Two aluminium plates held together by elastic loop.
As you can see, the band is external on one side and internal on the other (why there is a gap between the plates in the top-right shot). I plan to keep my travel card there for easy scanning (exposed to RFID scamming risk, of course). There will be other RFID cards inside so I will see how good the shielding is.
Generally I am very pleased. One initial qualm is that the cards are held so tight (good) that getting one of several out is tricky (bad).
Just got these in from evil bay (one is a spare). 6ft. pocket/keychain tape with metric AND inch length on the top side and both measurements on the underside as well, but for diameter. Oh yeah, the cases are actually made of metal instead of chrome plated cheap plastic. Most solid feeling little pocket tape measure I've ever held in my 49 years.
Got a pair of Carlos Ray 2 pants today from Tactical Distributers. Expensive (to me) pants, but shipping was fantastic! Standard next day ups. Thank GOD they fit! I'll give my .02 after I wear 'em a few times.
Those do look quite nice..
Looking forwrd to it.
Needed a mess. bag for going to work and ordered a new 5.11 Lima in sand, a blood type patch, and some bulbs for my old SF E1E. Bag no. two on the way!
New Mechanix original covert gloves
