Ahh yes...the culmination of months of fiddling, tweaking and work. The Splash Swim Team is here.
Left to right, the Orignal Splash, Papercut Splash and Diode Splash.
Nothing has changed much from the Original Splash. Knife, 2D Phillips, 3D Phillips, Flat Driver, Bottle Opener, Awl, nail file, scissors, eyeglass driver, tweezers, straight pin and pliers. The only difference is the addition of the branded SPLASH and MQB scales.
For the PaperCut Splash, I decided to change up the load out a bit, honing more of a 'cutting' type tool. So all my esoteric custom blades went into it. The Warney blade, SE blade, tweezers, eyeglass driver, 2D phillips, awl, file (for metal cutting) nail file and of course, the Scissors.
The Diode Splash, being an electronics tool, I again tailored the tool lay out, thinking "what would I need to take apart a toy?". The wirestripper head, 2 different sized flat bit drivers, eyeglass driver, 2 and 3d Phillips, nail file/scrapper, scissors and blade.
A Diode, besides being a fitting name for the tool, speaks to another feature. TRITIUM!
Red and white represent the positive and negative. The blue trits broke in transit so I wasn't able to install them on the Original Splash, but I'll get replacements eventually.
This will conclude most of the mod work on the Splash. I am not done with the Squirt platform, its simply too much fun to mod and ultimately, very useful because of their size!
The only problem with the Splash family is that they are not for sale! But at least the scales are on Shapeways.
Actually they are.
So... are they up for sale?
All the best

Metro, really impressive work. They all look fantastic. Nice pics too, but going from the pics it looks like you have been spending time in the Matrix's construct world! Thanks for sharing your mod travels.
"What do you want?"
"Multitools, lots of multitools".
Sort of but for the sake of accuracy …
It is our loading program. We can
load anything from clothes, to
weapons, to training simulations,
to Metro morph multitools.
Anything we need.
Okay. Store's open. What do you
Metro multitools. Lots of multitools.
Coming right up.
You mean it is possible to buy a finished Splash?
Here's my 3 layer Squirt and a Kydex sheath.
Did you want a P4??? Looks like you need an real awl! PM me!
Metro if I was wanting to take the rivets out of my es4 an replace them with pivots you know what size I would need any help is greatly appreciated link perhaps? Also would the nail file from a micra fit into an es4 to replace the regular file?
They are 1/8" barrel pivots and they can be bought from knifekits.com (http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/product_info.php?cPath=60_83&products_id=471) They are threaded all the way though so you can cut them down size. I don't know the exact size you need for a regular ES4 but a 3 layer Squirt can be made perfectly with the .5" length they are sold in.
As for the nail file, the Micra's pivots are larger and cannot be done however, the same file can be found on a Squirt S4 which can drop in with out any mods.
Looking good man, good job!
Ok thanks I'm wanting to keep it stock, except for maybe some of your shape way scales and a nail file/cleaner. I have no use for the squirt file. And dirt under my nails bothers me to no end. Which if the older tools has the awl I'd like to replace the 2d Phillips with an awl
The P4 has an awl. I have a couple of extra P4's. Let me know if I can set you up with one.
are you willing to sell parts or do you want to move the whole tools
