I should have known that since I replaced the led on my DD when I first got it but I didn't remember
That some kind of glow fob on the top part and is that a blue sak? Sorry, can't make it out with your crappy picture
AHh...gotcha. I have the DD
Yup... a TEC Accessories Glow Fob. Here's a better pic (in fact...one good pic and one blurry pic) of a different set up...and yes, its an Aloc Classic >> >> >> Pangea-Designs EDCF PickPocket
Placed anorder for a DD, battery carrier, and extra batteries yesterday. I really didnt need another flashlight, and was perfectly content with my Photon, but the bad influence of this forum.....
Ah yes. Now I see. Nice.
Well, even the gold plated Klarus breaks me out, when I sweat, when its on my necklace, so back the Quantum. I like the 1xAAAA on my necklace and the Quantum on my keys.
Now I guess I need another Quantum
The battery case has been relegated to bag carry since I rarely need it
I gotta tell ya' since I've switched back to the Quantum as my backup I really am more happy with it than the Klarus. I only wish it was more chrome finished like my pendant, or gold even. It would match better. The Quantum makes my pendant look like it doesn't belong on that chain
Hmmm, gold plated DD...
I dunno...the gold plated Klarus Mini Midas started to break me out when I started sweating. The Stainless Steel doesn't so that
Good point, just a good polish then perhaps? I've been thinking about doing that with mine
I don't have the means. But maybe I'll get them after I see your's
I don't neither, lmao, but I can borrow a dremel & hope they make little polishing disks for it
Quantum D2 on a ball chain necklace: o-rings for twisting grip, and another to keep the ball chain connector in a predictable spot as well as preventing the light from sliding along the chain when merely tilting your body left or right.
I measured the o-ring sizes: 7/16" x 5/16" x 1/16" for the larger ones, and 5/16" x 3/16" x 1/16" for the smaller one.
I totally stole that idea and put some o-rings on mine for added grip. That's fantastic. Thanks for the idea!
No problem, I blame KeyeEl for this impulse buy
Me too. He pointed me towards one that was an awesome deal on the BST.
He's such an enabler.
But but but......
I already had o-rings. I can't afford the trits, currently.
But I did just order some GITD o-rings to use instead of black with the last two bucks I had left in my PayPal account.
I'll get trits someday. There's just too many other things that hold priority
At least use GITD o-rings, guys! Sheese
