Been smoking in my legend corn cob pipe all week using Captain black midnight gold tobacco. The tobacco is very good with a slightly sweet robust flavor I am already half way through the tin .

Same here learned that lesson and I have found a good pack bowel helps I pack first layer with strength of a baby's finger than second layer the strength of a woman's finger than final layer that of a mans then gently press around with thumb for a good packed bowel . It should draw like a soda straw

G&H Louisiana Perique Flake in a John Brumfit Lovat. This is probably my favorite VaPer.

Bought this pipe off Val Shannon this summer. It's a great smoker. If you don't know who Val is, he sells some really nice estate pipes on EBay and Facebook.

It's a nice idea but I don't bother much, I do it by feel and almost never need a relight. Suppose it's just experience?

Best place to sip a pipe in the winter. Having a bowl of St James Flake in this Stanwell.

    Glad it made it.

Take a little of a lot of blends. There's only 4 more in front of you. :)

So far, I'm a big fan of the Ed G Robinson...going to take a few notes as I go.

Next up is H&H classic burley kake!

I know, right? It was just a quick shot with my phone but looking at afterward takes you back in time.

If anyone is wondering about the Dr. Grabow Royalton pipes, they're excellent smokers. I've had the billiard for a while and I picked up the bent Rhodesian yesterday. Fit and finish leave some to be desired but it's kind of hard to believe they're as light weight as they are. Both smoked great out of the box and you can't beat them for the price...

I wanted to pass along a little info on a pipe bag with which I have been very happy. It wasn't marketed as a pipe bag, but works great. The first bag I bought was the larger 6.25"x9.5". This one is great for a weekend trip. I can fit two pipes, accessories and a few baggies of tobacco. The smaller bag was a custom size that I asked to have made for a day trip to the pub or smoke shop. The smaller bag is 4.5"x8". It's still long enough to comfortably fit the Sorrowing Owl & Son's pipe cleaner sleeve. All items shown fit easily in the smaller bag. These bags are made of woven wool with a soft inner liner and come from LökenLoomWeaving on Etsy. Donna the shop owner is a very nice and helpful lady. She was easy to work with and added all the little changes I asked for. I have no affiliation with the shop, just a satisfied customer.

Lunting around the backyard this morning. Smoking ODF, the wife prefers I smoke it outside. :) The river is beaconing me to get out the fishing gear, but the day holds other plans. Maybe tomorrow...

That Country Gentleman looks perfectly at home with that background.

I got lucky at Goodwill and found this three pipe rack for a buck. It originally came with a glass humidor that is missing but that's no biggie. A mason jar fits nicely.

Agree that is a nice find.
Sharaz_Jek the pass around box will be on its way to you in the morning. Would have been Friday but the wife and kid got strep throat then would have been today but they were closed for MLK (I actually drove over there to discover this lol).

    Anywho, it's packed and ready!

    whiskey thanks again for this!
