    Hello,
I'm in desperate need of an Seiko Orange Monster watch. :help:
I need the stainless band, the rubber doesn't do anything for me.
    Amazon has them for $200
Ebay has them for a little cheaper, however it will come from Singapore, I have issue with overseas ordering.
My question is, does anyone know where else they can be purchased from. I live in Detroit MI, a local retailer would be best; that being said I've read that they are difficult to come by state side.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hercus

I got my OM at one of their factory stores. For $159 with the bracelet..... They have like 20 or so factory stores in the US. Don't know the locations, but thats probably your best bet if one is close to you, or you have a friend that could do it for you.

When I sold mine, they were frequent occurances on the SEIKO-Citizen Trading Post. If you can stand the weight and the fussiness of sizing it, the bracelet is tops.

I know you have an issue with overseas, but this guy is good. I brought my watch from him and it arrived without an issue. He has the Monster for $170 + $17 shipping.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the market for this watch. If anyone has one and needs to part with it, shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to do business with you.

Also for anyone interested, Overstock.com has the black monster right now for right around 200 bucks I believe. This should be the US version with the US warranty. Thats where I got my orange monster.

Overstock.com also now has the orange monster as well, both on the black rubber strap as well as on a steel bracelet, I believe the bracelet price was 219 and the strap was 195.

Check also overstock.com. I got a Black Monster from there at a good price, but it was a while ago.

I forget which dealer on ebay I got mine from, but they were in Singapore. I got the watch 48 hours after i hit BIN, and haven't looked back since. I think it was "tri-collectibles" or "watches59", but since they lock out item numbers after a while, I can't tell. There are "some" legit vendors still out there, but they're hard to find. Both of the ones I mentioned are good, and faster than any domestic seller I've ever bought from.

chronograph.com has an excellent reputation, it is overseas for you unfortunately... Í've bought some watches there (I live in the Netherlands), no problems.
Rob at www.monsterwatches.nl is a very reputable seller, but also overseas for you, and I don't know if he ships overseas as well...

Boy, I must have gotten lucky. I got my Black Monster on eBay (yes, it's real and not a knock-off) a couple years ago for $95.
    :luck:
