On somethingawful.com there is a smiley icon of a little guy frantically pressing the refresh button, titanium would make page refreshing so much more enjoyable :)

I know Peter is super busy right now and doesn't have time for T-shirts, but somebody made a comment on the blog. How about some of these:

I was thinking today about how much I really like the PryBaby design. Although I really like the G3, I wish that mine had a couple of things changed on it. If it were possible to make a custom order, I would order a G3 with the tip from batch two with the A51 grinds with out a v-notch, rather than the rounded butt end I would want the regular screw driver end as found on other PryBabies, and finally, I would take the wrench cut out away and either leave it plain or put the Gasbaby cut outs in. I don't know if that makes any sense. Basically cross the G2 PryBaby with a G3.

Unless I misunderstood horribly, the G3s with the standard screwdriver butt end are still coming.... they just got delayed by the blade-o-rama.

I think I read that Peter had designed one with the screwdriver butt end also. I'd still like to see one with no v notch and no wrench cut out. Just a standard PryBaby with the G3 look. ;D

I wish he would reconsider the whistles but I think they were too much of a :censored: for him. But the man is truly an artist and the fact that he's constantly offering something both new and useful makes waiting all the more exciting.

Small knife with o-ring retention system for handle but not for holding a bit but for a fire starting rod. Blade shape does not matter to me. Maybe if needed to keep it compact the slot could extent into the spine of the blade. Something like this quick illustrator drawing.

That's a great concept, as an alternative it could have two captive bits with a hex. With a fire starter rod would the knife need be fabricated in a tool steel like O1 or A2? A2 is hell for tough and will spark a bit. A larger knife than usual for an Atwood would lend itself to many variations in design.

It was just a random thought. I have no idea what steels would have to be used to strike or what diameter the rods come in. I think a 2.5 or 3 inch rod would be fine which could fit in a 5 or 5.5 inch knife (now that I look at it I think a little bigger is right. I played around in illustrator and just can't get the proportions right with a 4.5 inch Knife). When the o rings are removed the slot and grooves could serve for lashing the blade on something like a stick for a spear. Maybe someone could make a nylon sheath for storage of it with a pouch for other essentials and that would save him from having to make kydex. Maybe instead it could hold an atwood whistle in the handle?

Another idea is a handle with o-rings that holds some time of long narrow spy capsule. I think the handle might be getting pretty thick at that point though unless it was something like sharpie diameter or a little bigger.

The one with the "fixer" style blade has a shorter handle

A v-notch nibble would be fantastic. I have started carrying my nibble more than my atwrench and I have been missing the v notch.
