    Oh yeah, I knew about that. It just seemed like things had been turned around pretty quickly to the 'bay.

    Anywho, I attached my bronze longslide to my Para 2. I didn't like it, *sigh*. Maybe I'm just not a lanyard guy.

    I can understand the part about not wanting others to use his pictures to resell the tools. But the part about owning and holding onto a tool for a couple of weeks is a bit confusing. If someone has decided to immediately flip a tool, I doubt that they'll change their mind and decide to keep it after holding onto it for 14 days first.

    I can see why he does it completely. I've bought 1st run tools from him, and there will be one for sale on ebay before mine even arrives directly from Peter. Also, sometimes he'll release a few batches every few days, so the supply will somewhat meet demand (although it never fully does) thus reducing the "black market" value on the tool. In the end, he's got little control over it, but he's made the rule as fair warning for those who want to risk their ability to buy from him.

    I could use another for my camera bag if you are interested in getting rid of it.

    I don't understand the point of these things. Why would anyone want to carry a knife blade by itself? Am I missing something?

    It's more of a desk item, I think...letter opener. And I'm sure some people will come up with sheaths for them if you did want to carry them. But it's not really a carry knife IMHO.

    I am interested, but this thread isn't the place. There's somethings I'm looking for, and we can move to PM :)

    It seems like it'd be perfectly at home on a desk used to pay bills an open mail. I would carry it, doesn't seem fit for duty so to speak.

    Eagerly awaiting his next rollout :)

    no it comes with a small rigid plastic envelope it slides into. I will have a sheath made for it. it is a desk tool but is razor sharp and dangerous if you have curious children around as i do.

    I never had so much fun opening junk mail as I did yesterday.

    Oh, By the way Ti LONGSLIDES are now up on atwood site.

    Passed on the Swingers, Ti and steel Bookies.... not all the designs appeal to everyone.

    I've got a nice collection of full-size BrewDrivers and am always on the lookout for a unique piece. I saw a lot of comments about how limited the BrewDriver design was and how much they didn't like it. I actually appreciate the simplicity and absolutely love the design.

    Peter makes so many tools that there's bound to be a few that disagree with someone's sensibilities. Only go for the stuff that speaks to ya on some level!

    I really am having a hard time deciding which paracord tie looks best with the Lanslide. I think I'm on re-tie number 3.

    Oh, and thanks Farchyld on the pest heads up. I scored three for xmas presents. Only problem is that my friends and family don't really care. );

    In case anyone was wondering. The EDK worked it's way through turkey day with flying colors.

    Sounds like they'd make excellent stocking stuffers for that one stocking labeled "Mumbojumboo", haha.
