I believe he's been making knives and pocket tools since about 2000, but he's been a metalsmith since the early 80's.

Anyone else think that the Blue Mini Brewdriver sale was really long? Are folks on vacation and away from their computers? Or are people done buying brewdrivers? :police:

I personally just didn't find it a good value for the $$. I bought two of the regular size ones (one to carry and a rainbow one to collect) and I think they were only $5 more than the mini ones. That, and I really can't justify more EDC spending right now. But I found $65 to be a bit steep.

Also, there was one batch already and another one or more coming. I don't think that the mini (or even the regular) are going to be as popular as some other Atwoods. Just due to their functionality.

But hey, selling out in 90 minutes is still pretty darn impressive.

beautiful collection, I'm looking forward to the plain satin titanium BrewDriver and the plain satin finished Mini BrewDriver like yours.

Could you put a picture of them next to something like a key to see the approximate size?

    First, WELCOME! :bounce:

The overall length of the mini is exactly 2". Also, if you look at the top of the Atwood Business Card (rectangular thing just above the mini), you will see a ruler. That should give you dimensions.

Also, Peter just mentioned in the comments of his latest blog entry that he has some of these in stock. Send him an email with your request and see what he says. You might score one today. :luck:

    Best,
    Jerry

Yep, the brewdriver looks nice but all the other tools can do what it does and more. Unless I am missing something...

I am holding out for the fixers!

A collector (who can name himself if he so wishes :winkwink: ) had two rose keytons and was nice enough to let me have one if I would pay a ridiculous amount of money for it.  I paid the ransom  :broke:  and the keyton is in route to me as we speak.  I will post pictures when it arrives.

BTW, I suspect that this yet to be named collector thinks he gave me a gift on the price -- so, with nobody thinking they got the best part of the deal it was probably a good deal all around.  :highfive:

I've never passed on an atwood when the link is up UNTILL the brewdriver...and I've seen the link on 1 full size and 2 minis. Just not what I expect/want from an Atwood; not to say they are bad though.

Their prices are ridiculous. You could get Atwoods for a better price on evilbay.

I think if the mini's had gone up for sale first the full size would have sold slow, also sounds like he's making more of everything. The mini's are a better size for key chain carry, and as big as the design needed to be.....

Unless he makes a 5"-6" BrewDriver XL for "extra leverage" not a kubotan at all..... ;)

I don't mind the cylindrical designs, I wouldn't mind an Atwood pen or flashlight!

Mini's do need an o-ring slot though, and too bad no 1/4" hex slot for a bit in the mouth running lengthwise so you could use it like a traditional screwdriver, maybe a magnet for bit retention.
