Thanks! I've been lurking in these parts for quite awhile :)

And good to know on special requests. I figured quite a few people here buy a lot from him and he'd be happy to oblige them. I stumbled on Atwoods a couple weeks ago and spent about 8 hours over the next two days researching them on the web and looking at every blog post on the Atwood site. I wish I'd known about about him back when he'd take special orders on edged items. So many beautiful pieces that I don't have :) I just got my BD's today... They're real purrtty.

I wouldn't call them "special" requests but it doesn't hurt to ask. Peter has so many means on finishing tools you just never know what he's got.

I wouldn't just flat out email him for something that isn't for sale on the blog.

    Hope that helps some.

You will be seeing your wallet and your time eating away now.

Received my plain Brewdriver today. Great little tool. I just swapped out the Chigger on my keychain for it.

Here is a photo of it with a few of my Atwoods, and my TEC inchworm.

Got my green Brewdriver a few days ago and realized I haven't taken any pictures in quite some time, so I lined up all my Atwood "Greenies" together for a group shot...

A few closeups showing that the Atwood stamp anodized differently...

I will get one up soon. The only camera I have access to is my phone and that won't even come close to capturing the stamp.

    Hey books:

Just saw a Ringthing on a Korean Website...I don't know who these folks are but others on this thread (page 51-ish) bought custom sheaths from them.

    Good luck in your quest.

Wow the Edged tools really do carry a premium. Now I won't be shocked and amazed.

Consider your self among the privileged. I once made a list of all the AtWoods I wanted to have. List was tossed a few months back. I truly admire Peter's work especially the ones with edges that a very unique. However I am a realist/tool user and can not afford to acquire them at their inflated pre-owned prices. The last tool I aggressively seeked was a BikeTool because I bike often. I still have a Ti Pry Bar and sold the one with cut outs I did not care for as much. It has permanent residence in my BOB. With that said; I am truly happy I have a Nibble, AtWrench, V GasBabby and metric V notch (don't even know it's technical name) to put in my pockets and use when the need arises. BRK to the rescue ...
