My wife decided to paint the babies room last night. Of course, I didn't want to do it or help out for that matter, but then she asked me to remove all the wall plates. I had the WingNut in my pocket so I went to work. I took a couple of pics today. So far, I really like this tool.
Does anyone know where/who/how I could find an Atwood booger? Im new to the forum, and would like to have the opportunity to begin my collection with a Booger as my first piece. Thanks all for your help.
Your only option to find one now is on the secondary market, as Peter isn't currently making them. Once you've made enough worthwhile posts here on the forum, the Marketplace will be made available to you and you can post a "Wanted to buy" thread. Otherwise they pop up on eBay every now and then.
This shouldn't be overlooked! From Peter's comments on his blog: "I have some old fashioned steel Mini Prybabies coming in a couple of weeks and will do some lefties in those batches." :-X
The TI goodness arrived today! Got one for me and a buddy here on the forum. Will be sending the 2nd one off to him soon!! Terrible picture quality but these things are extremely light and have a cool "scratched" surface to them so they won't show wear too easily(which is a good thing). Very nice, I saw those when they were posted but it is pretty much the same as my TI atwrench so I passed
He's my small collection. I know I want more of these great tools... the hard part is just buying the ones I know I'll use. I should just buy a Tippler, that's probally the most usefull Atwood of them all :lolhammer:
I was finally able to resist an Atwood. I did not buy a wingnut. I did give in and got a TI G3 Prybaby. Buying atwoods on the secondary market is rough but I felt I had to have a metric G4.
My first AtWood (Crawdaddy) that I got about 15 months ago has had two of it's three o'rings decompose and fall off. I checked the bag for spares and guess Peter started to add those at a later time. Tried ones from Nibble but they are too small :sigh:. I guess this is why he has made a switch to thicker rings on some of his latest tools. I had one of the o-rings from my Termite break on me the other day. I just went to the local hardware store and picked up three beefier ones and they work great. Just be careful putting them on and taking them off, especially on bladed Atwoods. What I would love to find is a good source for colored o-rings for my Atwoods. That, paired with lanyard colors, would really set the tools off. Heath
Dude, you're as bad with Atwoods as I am with Surefire lights... Thats the largest collection of Atwoods I have ever seen! O0 EDIT: just realized those wern't all atwoods..
I've got one of the screw keys at the bottom but have no info on them. Do you know much about them, history?
