I've never seen that Atwood before! It does look like the best BOB bar. Do you mind if I ask you how long have you had that? Edit: And how big is it? Thanks Take care -Matt
It's getting pretty unusual for someone to post an Atwood here that I've never seen before. Great score, Ed!
Very cool...but am I the only one who think it may look a bit aftermarket altered? Has it been confirmed by Peter that he actually made it like that?
It would be a sin to alter a raw bar piece like that. I doubt it is altered, why would peter put his stamp off center like that if it wasn't made like that? Then you would have to be lucky enough to get the one that is off center to make your alterations.
Very good point on the off center Atwood stamp! I started to think someone else made it with the bottle opener but I'm sure that would have to have been a pain to cut into that without the right blade/machine. I'm not saying it isn't possible but would be tedious and time consuming. O0 Noticing that off-center stamp!
Guys, I dont have that piece!! Its a pic from 2005, so it was made then or even earlier! No doubt its Peters vintage work... Not sure how many he made but i did confirm he in fact made it! So are you guys with my thinking a run of these would be super cool??? Not much of a BOBAR guy but that one is just too cool! :roof:
Heck yeah Bro! I wasn't trying to cast doubt either, just thought it looked so unlike Peters modern stuff, and the fact none of you SUPER collectors had seen it before seemed odd... Nice piece....where is it now I wonder?
I have tried to talk with the current owner, no luck yet.. I dont think Peter made that many... To me its the most ergonomic bottle opener he has made, plus the prybar feature and straight screwdriver adds more function. Really its the perfect EDC, plus it looks cool
:-X Hmm wont do much good with me asking... Maybe if a good number of fans asked??? We are in unchartered waters here guys... I would buy atleast 2  one to use and one for my collection.
