I think it is great. I have given many Atwoods to family and friends, but I don't think any of them have been infected (yet).
OK...first off, sorry for the pic quality, I rushed these a bit....
Not sure if this has been asked/answered before, but I can't seem to find a Ti Atwrench with V-notches. Has Peter made any?
I'd really love to get my hands on an Atwrench with a V notched pry tip. He apparently has some Ti Atwrenches coming this weekend (green was today), but they look to have non-vnotched tips. I'm still holding out for a prybaby though. *crosses fingers*
I always thought A51 grinds are those special waves, but don't see them on the pics of Proto... Only regular grinds.
Yeah, I was hoping for one with a V-Notch as well, but I am more than thrilled that I picked up a Ti Atwrench without. Peter said this batch coming out this weekend won't have V-Notches.
C-Tine, I've never seen a Ti Atwrench with a V-Notch, and I've seen quite a few different Atwrench variations. LZ, that proto takes the cake. Mine does not have those edge grinds. makes it look like a real facetted stone! :roof:
Hey Scott, I am so glad it arrived up north safely my friend :highfive: I am also glad you like it it was my pleasure to give it to you my friend It is a special piece :iagree: The more & more people post about thier ring protos not having the added grinds that are on the one I gave to you the more it sounds like it maybe a one of a kind proto ring :roof: Enjoy the gift buddy :woohoo: it fits right into your ring collections & rounds it out nicely O0 Take care & God Bless ~George
The area 51 grinds are the ones that cut off corners/edges. Think Stealth fighter. The Tiki grinds are probably what you are thinking of.
George, I cannot thank you enough! Your kindness will not be forgotten my friend....don't forget, I have your address now
Cool! Mine is thin like that, but no extra grinds. Glad to see it go to you Scott, and good on you, George. I am off to go do some conservation work in the rainy forest and maybe I will come back with a pic or two for you guys. (Ya, I bought a battery charger. :roof Alarm clock set for 4:15. See ya Monday!
