They have more grip than the original scales when comparing it to the smooth parts. but the originals have the textured parts which adds grip.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a foursevens quark with 123a's. It looks really decent with a moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens and a high with 780 lumens. The length is good, i'm just not to fond on the thickness at .85 inchs in diameter. the price is going to be $60 us with an added $7 for a deep pocket clip. Anything else i should look at before going for it? I'm just getting sick of my preon coming on in the pocket and draining the batteries, and wouldn't mind something that packs more of a punch when needed.
