We did also; I didn't have the calendar in front of me when I said '...about 2 weeks...'! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
So DST is a (nearly) universal ....some states are defecting, and I didnt know if some states observed a different date for such time-foolery.
I vote for defecting to in effect year round DST. Or I would vote if such an option presented itself! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
...and we return you now to our regulary scheduled Little Knives! Christy Mariner (brass body) now that spring is here.....
you mean the one from, say 1920 Google check Moshe available but getting more expensive since corner store days gone by...
Aren’t ALL Christy knives made of brass? I thought the Mariner is simply unplated brass vs. the plated ones. (Should be cheaper than the others?)
uh... not sure! have stainless, no the all brass is a bit mor expensive than the regular ones sold at military post exchanges during WW2 not being rude, but Google and check out the family site. Nice to see a family business not China.....
I have lots of knives in my collection and scored this one from the folks over at Battle horse knives two years ago at the NRA show in Atlanta.
My EDC #2 drawer is quite the disaster so I cant locate the package but all are high quality, stainless?? They have an Execitive that's sort of blackened to look sharp. They had limited ones made from original parts they found from the early 1900s, sold out I believe. Again, respectfully, Google if you want the story and correct specs.
3 of the 4 current Christy models have a nickel plated handle with stainless steel blade. I am not certain the base material for the handle. https://www.christycompany.net/products/
