Maybe a Buck metro keychain knife. Small, just a blade and a cap lifter.

CRKT Mk5 by Doug Ritter. Designed to fit inside a standard altoids tin.

I've been tempted by this knife. I have not pulled the trigger because of many substandard reviews and comments. What is your opinion? Pluses and minuses?

    Thanks in advance.

For what it is, it's a great little knife. I dont remember what the steel is, but I was in okinawa when I got it with 85%+ humidity and it never rusted. Keep in mind, it was designed as a micro survival kit backup knife. For everyday use, you could probably find something a little more effective. The sheath is a little flimsy, and the lanyard hole is juuuust too small for paracord. Doug Ritter addressed this saying if they made the hole any bigger, it wouldn't fit in the altoids case. All in all, it's a nice little fixed blade knife. I used to wear it as a last ditch boot knife.

Thanks. I think Doug Ritter might have missed a way to handle it. More metal could have been left towards the inside of the handle (go ahead, groan), thereby allowing a larger hole for the lanyard, without changing the entire size to the point that it would not fit in an Altoids case. I know just enough about manufacturing to realize there may be reasons this wasn't feasible, but that's the way it looks to me.

Has nothing to do with whether or not I'd buy the knife by the way; just couldn't hold back the thoughts!

    L'chaim!

I almost forgot I had this little guy. It's a vintage Zippo money clip with a knife and nail file.

There's always an open spot on my keychain rotation for a cute, classy little knife that doesn't upset my co-workers. Nice find, 313.

Is that damascus blade a 'real' blade? Does not look sharpened.
Looks great and I want one, but I can not find them for sale any longer
