I know, I know. Like a broom stick. Is that an Opinel in your pocket or are you happy to see me, ala Mae West
So, I made it through the Christmas and New Year holidays with a Christy knife in my pocket and a Leatherman Squirt in the other pocket. Opened quite a few brews with the squirt, and opened gifts with the Christy. Later, broke down the boxes for the recycle bin with the Christy.
Started this insane collection of micro-cutters and surgical blade pocket knives... added another half a dozen (not in the pic) lately, and it's still growing.
I admit to having an interest in the ones that look like they take a regular X-acto blade! Wicked little package openers. I love the little micro or tiny cutters. They are sooooo much a study of what is not needed, and how much we obsessive object worshipers over estimate things. But then I love the tiny flashlights as well. Maybe a hold over from my ultra light backpacking days, when I was obsessed myself on how small can you make an object, and still have it function at its intended task? Mini cutters, mini revolvers, mini flashlights, and monoculars. I love them so!
Agreed... About me, when it comes to blades, i have not that much "obsessions"... Just for micro, mini, midi, regular, big, extra large, very-very-big ones... ... and for traditional, military, hunting, multiple blades style... ...as well as for folders, flippers, fixed, balisongs, stilettos, automatics...
@FarmerJoe That should be the MK-07 KE Neck Knife Elmax from MK Knives & Tools. Available at kapuga.pl
@dischu nailed it. It is CNC ground and feels great in the hand for such a small blade although a lanyard is in order to give the pinky something to grab on -it came with one with the shown bead. It came very sharp and with a perfectly even secondary bevel which will make sharpening it an easy task. @Reidar Chr. L. Guttormsen Yes! The great machining and the angle of the point make for a most pointy tip.
Small cutters and surgical blades pocket knives collection upgrade. Mostly Ti, brass and carbon fiber.
Some other little knives. The CRKT and one of the STL Gerber's have been heavily used, the little Jaguar too (it's over than 40 yo...). I always prefer oho among little pocket knives: it comes easier with one hand that holds something that needs a cut (boxes, envelopes etc).
EDC since October...little knives, and I haven't needed anything bigger. Victorinox Minichamp Leatherman Squirt Ps4
My meagre scalpel/hobbyblade knife collection..., my replaceable blade knife collection and my actual collection of blades to put in the other ones. Might be one or two left out. I know i have a metal 0,9 mm Olfa with a slightly different lock slider buried in my Edc bag from my S-A-M-S-U-N-G S9+ via T-A-P-A-T-A-L-K
