Always is, SOMEWHERE. Just ask Jimmy. (Jimmy Buffet of course. Warren wouldn't know.) L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Id love to try that. I just made my first gallon of mead. Was ready to drink last week. Its already gone, whoops!
I usually prefer beer, but if I'm doing liquor, my favorites are: Tullamore Dew - won't drink any other Irish Whiskey Jack Daniels - That is my cheap if I'm doing whiskey Captain Morgen's Spiced Rum - my favorite rum. Great for mixing with juices or Mr Pibb or Dr Pepper if Mr Pibb isn't available Blue Ridge Vodka - It is from a local distillery. Vodka mixes well with almost anything. Smirnoff Vodka - If I can't get the Blue Ridge, I'll go cheap with Smirnoff
Ive yet to meet a whiskey I didnt like. Im cheap and everythings good after the 4th so JD, at room temp or with coke, does the ticket Can not do tequila, stuff goes south faster than a retired new yorker in december. Vodka is a close second, but usually ends with my buddies filling me in on what I did, he next morning. Also not at all a fan of beer, but I wont pass a cold Guinness Much past that and youre gettin too fancy for me.
Jack went though a change awhile back and it didn't taste the same. Then they came out with Gentleman Jack and it tastes like the original. I only buy Gentleman Jack, MUCH BETTER. Mainly I just drink Miller Lite.
Uh... kinda like it all depending when and where! A buddy turned down a vodka, He said he was allergic - he said he breaks out in handcuffs....
I cannot stand whisky, whiskey or bourbon. My tipples of choice are: cask ales (proper British beer, served at room temperature and not a hint of fizzy. Merlot Brandy, usually Courvoisier or Remy Martin Gin (always with tonic) - it comes in tins now, who'd have thought ? If it's "one of those nights" then we may drift into Ouzo or Sambuca territory - forget doing anything the next day and avoid naked flames.
