That is my custom Skinth made by Metro. He's a cool guy on this forum. There are threads dedicated to his Skinths. You should check them out.
I have the SS with SS flat end. It sits beside my Ti D25C, the light gets scratched up. Not a big deal, considering brushing the whole light so the scratches won't show. Glow in the dark o-rings looked better than plain black on the SS.
This looks awesome. Is the gitd switch cover on the Eagletac factory or aftermarket? Which size o-rings did you use on your pen? I was thinking about giving this a try on my black aluminum pen.
The o-rings are from LightHound.com, 1/4" size. The Eagletac switch is factory on the Ti version, the regular black version of the light has a black switch cap.
Okay. I got mine second hand so never had one included. If I can find the size it won't be too much of a problem especially if its metric. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Honestly like the blunt, out looks less lethal and should be just as good if push comes to shove. No pun intended. I'm out here somewhere.
ollesocomit, I have a Hinderer investigator in every metal available. I have had no thread problems with any of them, including the brass. If you send it back to Hinderer, I am certain they will take care of it (as will Jon, if you prefer). In your circumstance, I would likely try chasing the threads with the appropriate size die, first. My black Al inveastigator looks as good as the day I got it (Summer 2011). I don't baby or pamper my pens, but I don't abuse them either. Actually, the pointed end will be MUCH more effective in, for example, fracturing a human skull. May you never need to find this out first hand.
Are these back in stock? I really want a Ti or SS one. Was it worth he extra $100 to get the Ti. I'm guessing the only dif is the weight? | Sent from my iPhone 4S |
They're #47 o-rings and you can get them fairly cheaply at your local hardware store.. I don't think they will fit the Schrade, it's a bit larger.. I suggest measuring the pen with a set of calipers and just go buy them locally.. Totally a no brainer.
