    First, I apologize if this has been done in the past. I did not see a similar thread in my search. That said;

    I would suspect that if you are on this forum you are likely just like me and have a drawer full of watches that have accumulated through time. I have had a rather L O N G career and have accumulated Doxa's Lum-tec, citizen divers, seiko tuna divers, ecozilla divers, casio frogmen, casio pathfinders, sunnto's. Along with many other casio g-shocks in various models, probably ten or so of those.

    Surprisingly (maybe) my absolute one watch for nearly everything, diving, swimming, high altitude stuff, tactical stuff, and travel, is either of my solar frogmen.

    I am really interested in what would be your "go to" if you had to run out the door one day for a "quest into the unknown." Most of you have probably had to do that at one time or another and I value your experience.

    Nick

    Mine is my Luminox with stainless band. 13 years in service, and I just changed the battery for the first time. The crystal is as pristine as the day I bought it. It HAS been into the unknown with me quite a few times, and works like a champ.

    I have a solar atomic Casio diver (linky) that's nice enough to pass for dress but durable and ugly enough to wear for hard work.

    Timex Ironman. Not real sophisticated but I like the durability, functions, and price.

    Sea Dweller. I too have been through a bunch of watches, Doxa, Omega, Casio, Suunto, etc. but I still have my ten year old SD. It is starting to shows its age with a lot of little scratches and bangs but I know that the movement has been tested under some of the toughest condition and was built to last a lifetime. Note: It is going in for a service soon as it is about 5 years overdue.

    Mine would be my Luminox Field watch with a titanium band ... Bought it over 20 years ago. Still works great, although the tritium glow is now pretty much a memory.

    My go to watch before the band broke was a Fossil watch. It was an automatic watch, needed no batteries. It was a kinetic watch and I cannot remember the name of it. Its in storage, been there since the band broke over a year ago. I will get it fixed one day. Until then I will keep buying cheapy ones to get the job done.

    Sent from my DROID RAZR cuz robots are cooler than fruit.

    Second for the Timex Ironman. Durable and practical. The 2 things I look for, especially when money is tight
