Love these lil guys and one lasts about 6 weeks. Make great gifts, too. I might need a subscription.

IDK. If I start using a pencil again, I might think I was back in school.

Soooo... a Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil is out of the question, then? ;)

There's always space for a good pencil or five (or maybe nine, depending on how you count 'em) ;)

    From left to right:
    • Amazon cheapy tri-fold wrap around faux leather notebook cover with pen loops (since acquiring it, I've punched a few holes in the middle of the main fold and threaded through some 3mm olive green elasticated cord, and fashioned some much better notebook retention loops, with a closure wrap)
    • Pentel EngerGel 0.7mm black pen
    • Faber-Catell Perfect pencil
    • Zebra telescopic biro
    • Bi-colour pencil
    • Staedtler eraser 'pen'
    • Three more bi-colour pencils (orange needs sharpening!)
    • Calepino Agenda Perp├ętuel four-month perpetual diary (the brown covered notebook)
    • Calepino No 4 Papier Dot Grid notebook (the white covered notebook)
    • Field Notes Utility graph notebook (the yellow covered notebook)

Haha. Probably so. Although if you can find me a copper pencil, I may cave. I'm a sucker for anything copper.

Just to be certain I look for the right thing, you want a pencil with a copper-coloured core, or a pencil body made of copper capable of accepting 0.5 mm lead/graphite cores?

@Nutmeg: nice leather work there! The slip case version I don't think I'd use, but the other examples are very nice indeed!

Q: I notice that two of your recent Field Notes purchases came in bundles of two? Really a surprise. I thought they were always sold in bundles of three?

    L'chaim!
