Ha ha! I totally forgot and just attempted to use the z word in an AR thread, in the context "z hunters". With the forbidden word supressed, it made it look like I was referring dismissively to "hunters" which I was not.

I would think for most of us it would be a month at most for power. As for the Z'd word I saw it cause a huge problem on another forum that resulted in multiple bannings and the creation of another board that resulted in a board war. I am Z'd enthusiast and I've seen a number of boards handle it responsably and others that hate the word. Personally I view forums like this the same as going into someone's house, you respect their rules while you are there even if you don't agree. If you don't like doing that, there is always the door.
Undead Rights National (URN) is making giant strides toward equality, as their Undead Rights Amendment will be put before Congress tomorrow. The amendment will guarantee equal rights for the Undead, officially redefine "Murder" to include re-killing the Undead, and prohibit use of the word ****** in public. The Z word will forever be known as a derogatory term...

Did some Googling (Love how the 'Net has changed poplular use of English) and found that the Z word is a common component in various slang, both sexual and drug related. That's probably why it's banned.
You can search for it, and in the threads that come up, it's ****** and not highlited... kinda wierd.
