C'mon...as if I don't already make things for you guys already!

The small grips/T&T will require a lot of fitting and finishing, maybe they can be sold to DIY types :)

Can't wait for those ferro rods to come in. I am running out of ideas for this MT, have I maxed out its potential?

    Nahhhhhh

The shield family has to be the cleanest by far-I love all Skinths, but wow-these are definitely destined to become the classics. And that Charge-AMAZING! I would love that for my wave-that would be absolutely perfect and I think it's missing on all multitools-the flat side grips-and the blade exchanger-incredible.

You blow me away-seriously. With the Skinths and Multitools-now all you haven't done is your own OPMT and knife/scales :p...or haaaave you?

Pretty good, it's a little thicker than I am used too (used to a wave)

Oh nice-yeah-it looks quite a bit thicker-but in this case it also means more useful!

It's not that much thicker but it's noticeable.

Blast! The minimal wall thickness is 1mm, I'll need to redesign It and shoot it back to shape ways.

    No need to fear!

Well... after looking at what a Charge would cost me, to swap over my wave setup and be able to fit a blade exchanger like that... Too much $$ to drop Right now. So, I got to looking at how much(how little actually) you took out and, well, Long story short; thanks for the inspiration yet again Eric!

I did it! 2 hours of careful filing and sanding, and I now have the dual BEs from my Surge mod in my Wave!

I went the other way; instead of opening the frame up, I thinned/rounded/slightly narrowed the outer piece of the BE to get a nice light friction fit in the frame.

I think there is much more room in the Wave, the bend frame has more 'give'. The Ti scales are much more exact (but also loose in a lot of ways).

    PICS! (well...here and anywhere else)

Yup, the outer gap is definatelly thicker, since the BEs will sit in them without modification, but only about 1/4 the depth of the area... With the Wave, that area is tapered thinner toward the bends to the frame back. Its ok for the regular blades since they naturally are thinner on that edge, but it makes anything of even thickness wedge tighter the further you close it... So I had to take a lot off of the bend side of the BEs outer piece. hmm. I think your right about more give, I might actually have them spreading the folds a bit when closing...

Pics are hard to do right now, my regular laptop bit the dust, and this backup machine is on windows 98... no USB support for my camera... And no net on my phone right now. :( I have like 4 custom and mod projects I've been wanting to post, but can't get my pics online..

I hope you figure out the grips/T&T holders! I ruined some brass, and corrian last night trying it by hand... I figured I used to do T&T grooves by hand on SAK scales, I could do it for this. Nope. Too tight of a clearance.

Yah..it is quite literally 1mm of side wall, 1mm of a partition wall and 1 mm of side wall making up the whole thing. I am secretly working on a bit holder (MUT style) with the same part. Might be a 'bit' tight :)

    SWEET!

I thought of that last night, was gonna try it before I mentioned it... Great minds think alike I guess! ;)

Was trying to figure out if I have a dovetail cutter with a low enough angle to match the bits, then run it up the channel from both top then bottom... to form the < > sides.
