    Ha! You reminded me of another site. where the electrical firm for a native American casino saved the tribe over 1.5million (allegedly) by using aluminum cable instead of copper and didn't use the ferrels on the ends, just the no-ox grease. It was a pretty picture when 2 of the units cabling fell out catastrophically damaging the units.

    I've found that removing all screws that tighten on to electrical wire connections and lubing them with the Noalox makes for a easier and more secure connection since aluminum screws can gall and not tighten sufficiently. This is for copper and aluminum wire too.
